How To Freeze Corn
Summer season is here and sweet corn is in full season. I made some corn salsa to go with zesty lime chicken tacos and I had some extra corn perfect for freezing. Freezing corn is easy, fun and affordable.
To freeze corn in simple easy steps:
1. Remove corn husk and excess silk. 2. Place corn in a large pot of boiling water for approximately 3-4 minutes. 3. Place boiled corn in a large bowl of tap water or ice water. 4. Split corn in half for corn on the cob or trim kernel from corn for whole kernel. Place the corn in freezer bags (make sure to keep air out from bag upon sealing the bag) and store in your freezer.
