How To Freeze Nectarines
Nectarines are sweet and delicious on almost everything. Nectarines are rich in flavonoids, potassium, great for snacking & smoothies!
To flash freeze fresh fruit in simple steps:
- Pick ripe nectarines. Rinse fruits and pat dry with a kitchen towel. 2. Slice nectarines and chuck the pits. Nectarines are rich in flavonoids, potassium, great for snacking & smoothies!
3. Lay sliced fruits on top of parchment paper (like this) lined baking sheet. 3. Place the sliced fruits inside the freezer for at least 1 hour. Freezing tip: Set your freezing temperature to the colder temperature to help freeze quicker!
4. After at least 1 hour of freezing, take the fruits out of the freezer. Place the frozen fruits into large freezer bags. Squeeze as much air out of the bag. Label the bags with fruit variety and date.
5. Lay the frozen fruit bags flat in the freezer.
